Overnight I was made a don by the media. Although I told the media that I was a writer, soldier and a bit of a politician too. But those were the words unheard by the media & police. For them I was a hot cake of news. The headlines of national dailies printed – An army major duped millions of innocent depositors and made crore of rupees! On T.V. also they made it a big show. The army major was an align not supposed to make money.
A major was supposed to die … die for the national pride … die in counter insurgency. Die in war … or sacrifice for any other social cause. But to make money was a sin … forbidden to army man. It made a perfect news and people were glued to the T.V. sets and read the headlines of newspapers with lots of concern.
