There was a village. The name of the village was Sharampoor. The village was always calm and pleasant and there were natural beauties in the village. Many people lived in the village. Their occupation was to work hard in their field. It was the morning time, the sun was raising and the birds were raising their sounds like cucoo……cucoo…..
The small crazy children were playing. Some people were going to their field work. There was a beautiful temple of Lord Krishna besides the lake. Near by the temple one beggar was lying. The beggar was too hungry. He had red cheeks. The cheeks had wrinkles. Many children were playing near by the temple.
One child was sitting alone. She looked too disappointed. Her face looked like a withered flower. The beggar noticed that child sitting alone. The beggar called the child. She came with a smile and spoke with the beggar.
The beggar questioned the child why she was sitting alone. She explained, that she was not looking pretty. So other children would not join her. The beggar was advising the child. But, the child was looking into the beggar’s eyes and realized that the beggar was hungry so, the child went to her home to bring water for the beggar.
The beggar felt proud of the child. The other children also realized her good character and joined them. The beggar and the child were happy.
“The beggar moved from that place ‘Beauty is not your face it is in your character ‘he was murmuring…..”
