The book aims at finding out the literature of Seraikella style of Chhau dance particularly its origin & development and rituals connected therein. The objectives of the book is to analyze the socio-economic conditions of Chhau Artists by investigating the factual aspect of their economic situation, education, and housing conditions; To evaluate the government efforts to raise the socio-economic conditions of Chhau artists; to examine the various constraints faced by the Chhau artists and to give suggestions for further improvement in the socio-economic conditions of Chhau artists. The data collected through this study will help the policy makers and NGO’s to take necessary remedial measures for its improvement.
