In this book author has analysed “An impoverishment risk model” of Michal M. Cernea (1990) which states that the displaced families are likely to undergo eight risk factor which cause impoverishment. There are landlessness, joblessness, homelessness, marginalization, increased morbidity and mortality, food insecurity, loss of access to common property and social disasticulation with special reference of Vindhyachal super power project Madhya Pradesh bestowing conclusive remark.
